Lemon Sherbet Shampoo Bar

We promise that you will notice a difference in the softness and condition of your hair from the very first time you use our shampoo bars.

Being rich and gentle, they work perfectly for all hair types.  Fine and flyaway or thick and curly? No problem.  Coloured and heat damaged? Again, no problem.

Each bar is the equivalent to two plastic bottles worth of liquid shampoo and they should last for around 50 washes.

Their perfect hand-held size makes them idea to take when you are travelling or perhaps going to the gym as they take up very little space.  They won't leak in your bag and they won't add to your liquid allowance at the airport.

Are they vegan & cruelty free?

Do they contain parabens, sulphates or SLS?

How long will a bar last?

Each bar is roughly the equivalent of two bottles of shampoo.  With normal usage, i.e. washing your hair every couple of days, a bar should easily last a couple of months.

What is the difference between your shampoo bar and others?

Many of the really inexpensive shampoo bars, especially those that look like glycerine soap, are made using a pre-bought base.  They might work for a short period of time, but after multiple uses, you often find that they start to dry your hair.  Some customers have mentioned to me that their hair felt like straw after using this type of shampoo bar.

Some shampoo bars are simply modified soap.  These are the ones you are told will need a transition period and that you should use apple cider vinegar afterwards.  Think about it, if something is good for your hair, why should  you need to pour acid over your hair to make it work?  Well that is because soap has a pH of around 8-9.   It has to, otherwise it can't retain its chemical composition as soap.  Well your hair needs a pH of 4.5 -5.5 - hence why this type of shampoo bar tells you to use apple cider vinegar, because it is the wrong pH for your hair in the first place.

Our shampoo bars are pH 4.5-5 which is perfectly formulated for hair.  You won't need a transition period with our shampoo bars.  We promise you will notice a difference in your hair from the very first use.

Which bar is best for curly / thin / treated hair?

We use the same base recipe for all our shampoo bars, the only difference is the fragrance and colour.  So any of the fragrances will work with all types of hair.

Will I need a conditioner?

We include a small amount of high quality conditioner in each shampoo bar.  So if your hair is already in a really good condition then you may be fine with just the shampoo bar.  Or you may find that you just need to use conditioner every now and again.

However, if your hair is heat treated, coloured, thick, long etc, you will probably find that you benefit from using our conditioner which has been specially formulated to work alongside the shampoo bar.

How do you package your shampoo bars?

They are packaged in biodegradable, eco-friendly glassine bags.

I'm finding that the bars don't lather as much at home as they did when I was on holiday in North Wales

Here in North Wales, where our shop is, we have very soft water.  This means you get maximum lather and bubbles.  If you live in an area with hard water, you will still get lather, but just not quite so much as you did in a soft water area.  Don't worry though, the shampoo bars will work just as well.

Rub the Shampoo Bar over wet hair & work into a lather. Rinse thoroughly.

Please allow the bar to dry completely between uses.

If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

Suitable for ages 3 years & up. Please note that this is NOT a tear free formula.

INGREDIENTS: Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (this is NOT SLS), Cocus Nucifera (Coconut Oil), Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Cetyl Alcohol, Parfum, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Panthenol, CI 77891, CI 77491, Sodium Lactate. Allergens: Citral, Geraniol, Citronellol, Limonene

Because every shampoo bar is pressed into shape individually and by hand, it is normal for there to be some crinkles, dents and divits on the surface.  This are just aesthetic and do not in any way affect the performance in any way.  As soon as you have used the bar once, it will have a smooth surface.

This gorgeous lemon sherbert scented shampoo bar speaks for itself. If you like a citrus scent this is definitely up your street. After just the first use of my shampoo bar my hair felt squeaky clean - something you cannot say about conventional shampoos. It felt amazing and partnered with the conditioner bar takes your hair treatment to all new heights! My hair feels stronger, cleaner and healthier than it has for years! They’re easy to pack away for travels so it’s a win win!

I have been using these ever since Debbie opened her first shop, absolutely love them, think the lemon is my favourite fragrance so far. I have dry frizzy hair and works wonders on it.

I borrowed my mums that she bought from here. Never used a shampoo bar before. It left my hair feeling lovely and clean and soft. It smelt amazing too. I have now ordered my own in a different fragrance to try.

I have just tried soap and conditioner bars for the first time, as well as the amazing fragrance my hair feels so soft. Compact enough to take anywhere but such a small amount used each wash, it will last for ages. Another great product from Snowdonia Soaps.

Hi Rachel
