Lavender and Bergamot Shampoo Bar
We promise that you will notice a difference in the softness and condition of your hair from the very first time you use our shampoo bars.
Being rich and gentle, they work perfectly for all hair types. Fine and flyaway or thick and curly? No problem. Coloured and heat damaged? Again, no problem.
Each bar is the equivalent to two plastic bottles worth of liquid shampoo and they should last for around 50 washes.
Their perfect hand-held size makes them idea to take when you are travelling or perhaps going to the gym as they take up very little space. They won't leak in your bag and they won't add to your liquid allowance at the airport.
Are they vegan & cruelty free?
Do they contain parabens, sulphates or SLS?
How long will a bar last?
Each bar is roughly the equivalent of two bottles of shampoo. With normal usage, i.e. washing your hair every couple of days, a bar should easily last a couple of months.
What is the difference between your shampoo bar and others?
Many of the really inexpensive shampoo bars, especially those that look like glycerine soap, are made using a pre-bought base. They might work for a short period of time, but after multiple uses, you often find that they start to dry your hair. Some customers have mentioned to me that their hair felt like straw after using this type of shampoo bar.
Some shampoo bars are simply modified soap. These are the ones you are told will need a transition period and that you should use apple cider vinegar afterwards. Think about it, if something is good for your hair, why should you need to pour acid over your hair to make it work? Well that is because soap has a pH of around 8-9. It has to, otherwise it can't retain its chemical composition as soap. Well your hair needs a pH of 4.5 -5.5 - hence why this type of shampoo bar tells you to use apple cider vinegar, because it is the wrong pH for your hair in the first place.
Our shampoo bars are pH 4.5-5 which is perfectly formulated for hair. You won't need a transition period with our shampoo bars. We promise you will notice a difference in your hair from the very first use.
Which bar is best for curly / thin / treated hair?
We use the same base recipe for all our shampoo bars, the only difference is the fragrance and colour. So any of the fragrances will work with all types of hair.
Will I need a conditioner?
We include a small amount of high quality conditioner in each shampoo bar. So if your hair is already in a really good condition then you may be fine with just the shampoo bar. Or you may find that you just need to use conditioner every now and again.
However, if your hair is heat treated, coloured, thick, long etc, you will probably find that you benefit from using our conditioner which has been specially formulated to work alongside the shampoo bar.
How do you package your shampoo bars?
They are packaged in biodegradable, eco-friendly glassine bags.
I'm finding that the bars don't lather as much at home as they did when I was on holiday in North Wales
Here in North Wales, where our shop is, we have very soft water. This means you get maximum lather and bubbles. If you live in an area with hard water, you will still get lather, but just not quite so much as you did in a soft water area. Don't worry though, the shampoo bars will work just as well.
Rub the Shampoo Bar over wet hair & work into a lather. Rinse thoroughly.
Please allow the bar to dry completely between uses.
If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
Suitable for ages 3 years & up. Please note that this is NOT a tear free formula.

Quite simply the best shampoo I have ever used. Being sulphate and paraben free it is perfect for curly hair. No more plastic bottles. Love love love it.
One shampoo through is enough. You can feel how clean your hair is as you rinse it out. These little shampoo bars last for months and are well worth the money spent. By far the best shampoo/bars out there. The lavender smells gorgeous and matched with the conditioner bar the gorgeous smell lingers for a good time after. Highly recommend
I have always found before I have finishes a bottle of shampoo, my hair begins to feel clogged up and quite limp. I have quite fine hair and it doesn't take much to make it lose body and hang limply. I have now been using Debbie's hard shampoo for two years and find it brilliant. I love the lavender one particularly because of the smell and that it leaves my hair soft for ages.
I used to have very greasy hair and using conditioner just made it worse. I am now fully converted. This shampoo bar is wonderful. It foams beautifully and leaves my hair feeling so silky and clean. I'm also using the conditioner bar and both together keep my hair tangle free, clean and silky feeling.
I started using both the shampoo and conditioner bars after seeing other reviews. My goodness what a revelation. I will never go back to mass produced off the shelf products again. They leave my hair feeling nourished soft and silky. For anyone unsure about them please just give them a try. You will not be disappointed. I for one will not use anything else. Even managed to convert my 74 year old mum.
